Adult Education
Adult Education offers courses and programs covering English as a Second Language (ESL), citizenship training, career education and community education. Because these programs are aimed at working adults, adult education have features aimed to make learning convenient and not a hardship.
Adult Education Overview
Classes are available for adult learners and offer everything from Literacy to vocational training, often at little cost. Often, the classes are in the evenings or on weekends to accommodate the needs of adults working full-time jobs. There is also an offer of online classes especially adults who want to learn computer or business courses. On the other hand a student can take classes at his or her convenience, which may help people who work or who have personal commitments that prevent them from. However, this class can be a bit expensive as it will require special teacher.
ESF categories
- Level 1 Lower and Upper: This class is known as a BEGINNER CLASS (they cannot read and write). Most of the time Level I is also known as Literacy class. Meanwhile, Level I upper learners can write and read some English words
- Level II Lower and Upper: This class is known as an INTERMEDIATE CLASS (learners are average)
- Level III Lower and Upper: This class is known as ADVANCE CLASS (learners can speak, listen, write and understand English very well) they can opt for being English teachers.
